Restaurant and cafe cleaning after your last cover

We do the weekly after-hours deep clean your closing crew doesn't have time for: floors scrubbed behind and under the line, equipment exteriors degreased, front-of-house detailed, restrooms fully reset, booth seams steamed. Visits start at $557 for cafes under 1,500 sq ft, and we are clear about the line between our work and certified hood-duct cleaning.

from $557

Cafe or coffee shop under 1,500 sq ft from $557 per visit; small restaurant 1,500–3,000 sq ft from $747; full-service from $0.33 per sq ft. Recurring contracts are priced as maintenance visits after the first clean, based on the time the visit actually takes; ask for a written proposal.

Written scope and price before the first visit. Extra work only after your yes. Insured ($1M/$2M general liability), not bonded.

All questions
What do you clean that our closing crew does not?

The things that take hours, not minutes: floors scrubbed behind and under the line, equipment exteriors and the wall behind the line degreased, booth seams and chair legs steamed, reach-in door frames and gaskets, restroom grout, the areas inspectors flip open first. Your crew keeps the daily close; we do the weekly reset.

Do you clean the hood?

The exterior and the filter housings we can reach without disassembly, and the wall and ceiling behind the line. Hood ducts, fans and fire-suppression systems must be cleaned by a certified hood cleaner on the NFPA 96 schedule, with the sticker in the hood. We will recommend one.

When do you come?

After your last cover, overnight, or on your closed day, whatever keeps us out of your way. A weekly visit is the usual rhythm for cafes; busier kitchens book twice a week.

3 more questions about restaurant & cafe cleaning
How is it priced?

Per visit, by square footage and kitchen size, set from your photos and a floor plan and confirmed in writing, usually the next business day. Cafes under 1,500 sq ft from $557, small restaurants from $747, full-service from $0.33 per sq ft. Recurring contracts are priced as maintenance visits after the first clean, based on the time the visit actually takes; ask for a written proposal.

What products do you use in the kitchen?

A food-service degreaser on equipment exteriors and floors, a quaternary ammonium (quat) product at label concentration on non-food-contact surfaces, dry steam at 290°F on grout, booth seams and tile. All chemicals are labeled and returned to your chemical storage, separated from food.

Do you provide a COI?

Yes. General liability, $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, with a Certificate of Insurance on request; your landlord can be named as additional insured. We are not bonded. You can look up Shining Cleanse LLC on the Washington State business lookup.

What’s included

Your closing crew handles the daily routine. We do the weekly reset: the slow jobs that don’t fit into a close. In front of house we wipe tables including the undersides, steam chairs and booth seams, wipe the host station and POS surfaces, clean glass and partitions, and sweep and mop the floors with a food-service degreaser. Customer restrooms get a full reset with steam on fixtures and grout.

In the kitchen we degrease the stovetop, flat-top and fryer surrounds and the wall behind them, wipe prep table exteriors and legs, clean reach-in door frames and gaskets where crumbs collect, and scrub the floors behind and under the line, the dish pit corner and the walk-in floor. Hood exteriors and reachable filter housings are degreased. Trash goes out, dumpster lids are closed, chemicals go back to labeled storage separated from food. Monthly we add equipment exteriors in detail, reach-in interiors, the ice machine exterior and a soak of drink dispenser nozzles.

Who books this

  • Coffee shops and cafes with a small kitchen and a busy dining room.
  • Small restaurants with one line and 1,500–3,000 sq ft.
  • Bakeries and juice bars with flour and sugar everywhere by Friday.
  • Taprooms and wine bars with tasting-room floors and restrooms that need weekly attention.
  • Food-service areas inside daycares and offices we already clean.

How it works

  1. Text (425) 539-5492 or use the commercial form: concept, square footage, kitchen size, number of restrooms, closing time. We reply the same business day, Mon–Fri 9am–7pm, Sat 9am–5pm.
  2. Send photos of the kitchen, line and dining room and a floor plan so we see the real condition; we ask any questions by text. Written scope and per-visit price the next business day.
  3. First visit is a longer restorative clean; the weekly program starts after that.
  4. Monthly invoice, Net 15, or a card on file. 30 days notice to cancel.

Kitchens are priced above offices because degreasing is slow and the supplies are consumed on every visit. Prices are set from your photos and floor plan and confirmed in writing.

What we don’t do

We are a two-person team and we take a limited number of after-hours restaurant contracts, so we say no when the schedule is full rather than rushing your kitchen. We do not do hood ducts, grease traps, beer lines or pest control, and we don’t handle food-contact surfaces during service; those stay with your staff and your specialty vendors. If something was missed, tell us before we leave and we fix it on the spot; if you notice it later, text within 24 hours and we come back at no charge.
