All questionsWill the stains come out?
Most household stains come out: dirt, food, drinks, mud, pet hair. Old and set-in stains, dyes such as red drinks or wine on nylon, bleach spots, rust and dried latex paint may not fully come out, and some are permanent. We mark every stain before we start and tell you which ones we expect to improve and which we cannot promise.
How long does carpet take to dry?
Usually 4–8 hours with air movers running and a window cracked, sometimes up to 12 in cold, damp weather. Walk on it in clean socks, keep pets off until dry, and leave the plastic tabs under furniture legs for 24 hours.
How do you count a room?
A room is wall-to-wall carpet up to 200 sq ft; we do not subtract furniture. Rooms of 200–300 sq ft are $102. A hallway up to 80 sq ft is $42 when booked with two or more rooms. Stairs are $5 per step and $10 per landing. We tell you the count in writing before we come, so it does not change on the day.
3 more questions about carpet cleaning
What is the minimum visit?
$220. Every price on this page includes travel within our ten licensed cities. If your order (one room, for example) comes to less, it is billed at the minimum.
Do you move furniture?
We move light pieces: chairs, small tables, lamps. We do not move beds, dressers, pianos, electronics or china cabinets. If you can clear small items before we arrive, we spend the time on the carpet instead.
Hot water extraction or dry cleaning?
Hot water extraction, for homes and small offices. We do not offer low-moisture encapsulation at the moment, so plan on 4–8 hours of drying.
What’s included
Every carpet job starts with a short inspection: what fiber it is, where the stains are, what has been tried on them already, and anything already worn or faded that we photograph and note with you. Then we vacuum, because most soil in carpet is dry grit and wetting it in makes it harder to remove.
Traffic lanes and spots get a pre-spray and agitation. We then run hot water extraction: solution into the fiber, immediately pulled back out with the soil. It is the same method a rental machine uses, so the difference is the work, not the machine. We pre-treat spots, work in slow, overlapping passes, add extra rinse passes on traffic lanes, finish with dry passes so we leave as little water as possible, and do edges and stairs by hand. Spots get the mildest product that works, tested first in a hidden area, and we rinse so no sticky residue is left to attract dirt. Air movers run on the carpet while we pack up. You get a short report with before and after photos.
Who books this
- Families with kids and pets who want the carpet properly cleaned once or twice a year.
- Clients of our house cleaning service who add carpets to a deep clean or a move-out.
- Renters moving out who need the carpet cleaned and a photo record (see move-out carpet cleaning).
- Property managers turning units between tenants on a fixed price per unit.
- Homes where vacuuming alone no longer gets the traffic lanes clean.
How it works
- Text (425) 539-5492 or use the form with: number of rooms and stairs, a photo of each room, pets yes or no, and the dates that work. Photos matter because size and condition can change the price by half.
- We reply the same business day, Mon–Fri 9am–7pm, Sat 9am–5pm, with a written all-in price: room count, what is included, what is excluded, expected drying time, and which stains we cannot promise.
- The day before, we text a reminder with simple prep: pick up small items, clear a parking spot, make sure we can reach an outlet and water.
- On site: before photos, the work, after photos, a short report with drying advice. Pay by card or Zelle on completion.

Prices are for routine cleaning and include travel within Mukilteo, Lynnwood, Bothell, Kirkland, Redmond, Kenmore, Woodinville, Mill Creek, Mountlake Terrace and Lake Stevens. Washington sales tax, where it applies, is shown on the quote as a separate line. If we find more rooms or heavier soil than the photos showed, we tell you before we start and you decide; we do not add items on the day without a written yes.
What carpet cleaning can’t fix
Carpet cleaning removes soil and most stains. It does not reverse wear, matting, sun fading, bleach spots or dye damage, and it does not fix a stain that someone has already set with heat or the wrong store product. Wool, silk, viscose and antique rugs are not something we take at this stage; we will refer you to a specialist. If a spot wicks back up as the carpet dries, text us a photo within 48 hours and we come back and re-treat that area at no charge.
We added carpet cleaning to our house cleaning business in 2026. We have no public reviews yet; when we do, they will be on our Google profile, and we never pay for them.
