House and carpet cleaning in Redmond, WA

Redmond is best known as the home of Microsoft, but it is also one of the most bike-friendly cities in the region, with three major paved trails converging downtown, and the location of Marymoor Park, the largest park in King County. About 78,000 people live here across ZIP codes 98052 and 98053, with the city extending east past the Sammamish River plateau into Redmond Ridge and the semi-rural Union Hill area.

Homes in Redmond

Redmond’s housing reflects its growth since the 1980s: large 1990s and 2000s homes in Education Hill and Redmond Ridge, townhouse communities around Overlake and downtown, apartments and condos near the light rail stations, and a few older farmhouses and acreage properties on the east side. Many households here are two-career tech families on relocation cycles, which means move-in and move-out cleans, often with carpet extraction, plus recurring service for the years in between. Homes on Education Hill commonly have four bedrooms and three bathrooms, so plan on a first deep clean of about six hours.

Parking is easy in the subdivisions. Downtown and Overlake apartment buildings need a garage code or loading zone arranged in advance, and we allow for traffic on 148th and SR-520 at commute times.

What fits here

Recurring bi-weekly cleaning with a quarterly deep clean often suits Redmond families. Relocation move-outs with a photo report and carpet cleaning can be coordinated with a relocation company or a property manager. Commercially, the small offices and professional suites in downtown Redmond and the Willows Road corridor fit our after-hours service, and we have capacity for retail and medical offices around Redmond Town Center.

A little about the city

Redmond was settled in 1871 by Luke McRedmond and Warren Perrigo along the Sammamish River; the first post office opened in 1881 under the name Salmonberg before being renamed for McRedmond, and the town incorporated in 1912. For most of the 20th century it was a small logging and farming town. Microsoft moved its headquarters here from Bellevue in 1986, and the modern campus covers more than 500 acres. Nintendo of America has been based in Redmond since 1982. Marymoor Park’s 640 acres include the only velodrome in the Pacific Northwest and a 40-acre off-leash dog park, which is one reason pet odor treatment is worth asking about here.
